LETTUCE

The series of plates Indivia, Lettuce and Rucola designed by Sottsass in 1985 – all white with black graphic decorations representing portions of architectural drawings, for the first two, or small spots for Rucola – play in a surreal way with the names of vegetables that do not seem to correspond to the designs in terms or color or figuration.
