SQUASH (VIOLET)

In 1985 Maria Sanchez created Squash, a series of ceramic bowls turned and painted by hand composed of three parts in multiple color schemes: the first piece made by the designer had a blue base and a yellow bowl, crossed diagonally by an oblong red block. This was followed by four other limited-edition variations with a checked black and white base and a bowl in violet, light blue, yellow or gold. Turned and hand-painted ceramic bowl made in a limited edition.
