STRATOS COFFEE TABLE

La Linea ("the Line" in Italian) is a name that describes the pleasing visual quality of this collection of tables, desks and consoles where fields of colour are separated by a thin line, as in the paintings of Barnett Newman. The curves of the legs, a reminder of the array of diverse shapes that occur in nature, connect with ordered rectilinear forms of the upper part by a seamless transition in the geometry. The cubic minimal shapes of this line of furniture create a contrast with the refined precision of craftsmanship. As a neobrutalist architecture, designed with recurrent modular volumes, these tables, consoles and desks, feature and convey a sense of immutability that makes them particularly attractive in our chaotic and crumbling world.
